A Step-by-Step Guide to Embroidery and Printing
Posted by Adele Faul on
Embroidery turnaround times depend on design complexity, order quantity, and the number of pending projects, with most orders completed within 2–3 days. Clients may bring their own items for embroidery if they are suitable for stitching and compatible with the equipment, though there is a small risk of damage in case of machine malfunction. A selection of apparel and accessories is also available for order. Custom ball caps can be embroidered or puff embroidered in any size, style, or color to meet specific requirements.
For digitizing, artwork or graphic files are preferred but not required; designs may be submitted as .jpg or .pdf images, and assistance is available for creating designs or logos. Upon receiving artwork, it will be digitized and a preview provided for approval. After finalizing the design, a test stitch ensures compatibility with the chosen material before embroidery proceeds.
Printing turnaround times vary based on design complexity, order size, and current workload, with most orders completed within one to two weeks. Clients may bring compatible, new, and unwashed items for printing, with a small risk of damage due to machine malfunction. Custom ball caps can also be printed. Vector files, which can be scaled without losing quality, are preferred in formats such as .png or .ai but are not required; designs may also be submitted as .jpg or .pdf, with assistance available for creation.
